9 / 11 Still Remains to be found

Workers have recently discovered remains of a number of people still missing from the 9 / 11 attacks.
About eighty bones have been discovered recently, sparking anger among the families who lost relatives in 9 / 11 attacks.

About eighty different bones belonging to a variety of people were discovered near a hole man, who had tried to beans. More searches hole man are imminent in the coming days.

The families of about 1,100 people, have not received any remains after the attack.
Construction workers on Friday made the unusual discovery. This has prompted senior officials to order more searches unsearched manholes near Ground Zero.

Last Saturday, more human remains were discovered which increased the urgency for further research.

In 2002 searches were deleted after 20 000 pieces of human remains were found. Officials thought there were more.

The discovery comes just five years after the anniversary of the 9 / 11 attacks.

In February 2005, medical personnel had stopped the identification of DNA as they had run out of identification technologies and no longer was possible.
This has left four in 10 families without positive identification for their loved ones.
This new discovery will lead the process of identifying the DNA back into play?

The death count for the attacks on the World Trade Center is still around 2750.
with only about 57% of all identified human remains.
The World Trade Center remains were freeze dried and sealed until further DNA identification can resume.

In February 2003, scientists have identified two of the hijackers through DNA testing.

In September 2001, four planes were hijacked in total. Two were taken to shopping centers in the world. One was flown into the Pentagon in Washington and a fourth crashed after passengers fought the hijackers were.

Massive settlement of claims were subsequently paid to the families of victims involved ill. The payments ranged from half a million to several million dollars.
A small number of households has decided instead to sue the airlines rather than take the settlement.
The court cases are still in infancy five years later and probably drag on for at least another ten years.

The victims of 9 / 11 attacks have chosen not to take the settlement and instead fight the case through the American courts are not guaranteed to win their cases at the end of the day and may end up with nothing.
