Down Deeper in debt - Funerals

'S last goodbye at a funeral leaves you recall the good times, also leaving a trail of memories of the dearly departed. But it turns out that after a funeral can also leave a huge debt hanging over his head.

The cost of burying a loved one can run in thousands for a proper burial? What is a proper burial? What is the difference between decent and less decent? The mind wobbles.

For the few extras that Bob makes the coffin of the decent funeral have a smoother finish. If the deceased has more words said at the service? Well let me tell you a little secret. Blurred vision / bloodshot eyes obstructing the view of the congregation, with all the tears is difficult to concentrate on each coffin.

Words spoken at the mass are rarely heard. Too many other thoughts overpower the emotional sentiments, and one concern is how the bill is being paid.

This is not the day for extravagance, imagine going to the theater to see a show, but the curtains never open, so what is the point of all that spending.

decent and less decent farewell

Mourners are there to share your pain, not to judge how many brass handles surround the coffin or what hymns are sung.

With not knowing the mechanics behind a funeral, many families are in a financial situation where they are faced with the anguish of trying to make ends meet.

In time of pain, the best of everything has been chosen for their loved ones, which has a price that seems affordable at the time, until reality sets in which the party was headed.

Life insurance is a necessity, while in the land of the living, can help ease the burden on those left behind after a death

Unfortunately we have all experienced a loss at some point in our lives, but you should be unfortunate enough at the moment is going through the experience of losing someone you love, why not call a friend or family member to act on your behalf funeral arrangements? This will be less of a burden for you to meet, as we adapt to cope with death.

Consider cut funeral costs by:

Less brass / save money
Have shortened the service.
Funeral settle for a car, the hearse.
A family gathering at home, no big wake.
A small bunch says goodbye just like any garland.
It 's like saying goodbye that matters, thoughts and memories in silence can give the dearly departed send the best ever.

Deal with the painful loss of a loved one

I had to take a friend to the doctor today and as I sit here in the waiting room began to doze off to write this article. By the way, because waiting rooms in doctor's offices make people sleepy?

OK, let me get back on track. As I sit here, I heard a lady behind me talking about his past depression. He mentions he felt so lonely after her husband disappeared dear. In his words, 'her whole world collapsed.' She said that her husband handled everything in their marriage, money, bills and car maintenance. After his death became overwhelmed by all the finances and responsibilities of others who now had to face, not to mention the fact that he was still mourning the death of her husband.

This conversation I started to think how many people face the painful loss of a loved one.

Many times when a loved one passes, those left behind might not immediately feel the effects of that loss. Did not 'hit them' or 'sunk in' yet. Sometimes it takes a little 'for a person to react to the loss. Some may groped to remain strong or hide their feelings in front of others. But when the funeral was over and the family and friends have returned to their homes, the person may break down. Finally sinks in. Some sink into a depression so bad they close themselves off from the rest of the world. Take more time from work and also refuse invitations from friends and family.

Isolation and self-pity is never the answer. OK to cry. Even people in biblical times when tears have lost loved ones in death.

Examples of this are:

* King David who was distressed when her son died Absalon (2Samuel 18:33)

* Abraham lamented the loss of his beloved wife Sarah (Genesis 23:2)

* Even Jesus himself, who was a perfect man, 'gave way to tears' for the death of Lazarus (John 11:35)

So this shows that there is a sadness when we lose a loved one to death.

Then what is not to dwell on everything. Keep busy. Get involved in other things as a hobby. Distract you from loss. The memories will always be there, but should not be painful.

Another thing that can help manage your pain is the reading of the Bible. God, being God's love that he helps his people to endure the extreme sadness and grief that comes with grief. The Spirit of God helps us to have peace and trust in the wonderful future promised in his Word the Bible.

The Scriptures refer to God as 'the God of all comfort,' so you can be sure that will give us the necessary strength and let us not be overwhelmed by sad thoughts of the dead loved one.

Knowing all this should help us understand that we are not alone in experiencing the pain of our loss. Others have been through the same thing. Over time, the pain will subside. The world will not stop for our broken heart. Life goes on. Things will get better.

So knowing this and the fact that Jesus, perfect man, has also this should help us face the painful loss of a loved one.

Of truth and life after death

Death is when life ceases to be. Yet, society has taught me to believe that it is in dying that we are born again. It is only through death that we could finally live the so-called eternal life.

Of course, the statements are contradictory, but is not that what most people believe that way? This belief does not need a proof for its justification lies on faith and faith alone. In a world that is dictated every detail of our daily life by religion, it is quite surprising that people dwell on this conviction, without really examining its authenticity.

Basically, it was a choice. People chose to believe that in reality there is no life after death, because we are born into a society that so requires. It 'was our choice to follow the dictates of society and be one of the crowd when you can go against the flow. We were the ones who taught us never to question such beliefs.

With eyes closed, we accept this truth because the Bible says so. It is not the Bible but a book of myths? How do we really know the characters brought to life, the Bible is fictional, like the gods of Greek mythology that had found the man of faith for quite some time? Greek mythology does not exist because the man wanted the truth about the mysteries behind the mundane things of life? He wanted to know why it rained, and this set of beliefs, Greek mythology, was the only source for quite a number of years before science brought the water cycle.

As can be assured that millennia from now, science will not be able to demonstrate the existence of "life after death, but an error, but the myth Another evoked by the exact same human trait that will prove to be the wrong?

It may be possible that the extinction for the thirst for knowledge (which may be either false or true, but how do we really know?) This set of beliefs and principles are simple, but the reflections of human desire? This is what we chose to believe because that is how we want it to be. Take the concept of heaven and hell, for example. Does human craving for rewards in exchange for his good deeds and punishments for his sentence hurt? Is not life in the paradise we call heaven reward the greatest man could ever have? We did not conceptualize hell as a place for the most important man can never receive punishment?

Other side of the coin, there is no life after death in the first place because there is science, our concept of reality behind. Science strongly opposes the existence of life after death, because no one who has seen death in the eye may be so. Can this be saying that seeing is believing? That before you can ever say that there really is something we need to see first? But all truths are visible to the naked eye? We can always be sure that the things we're seeing are not that simple optical illusions? Tell me, is not that science has introduced the concept of air? Now, is this thing that science is firmly convinced there is really visible to the eye? The cold is the absence of heat. Logically speaking, for there must be absent. Science was he who conceptualized heat, but then again, is a heat did you see?

Science is the only way to prove that something exists? Tell me, what is paranormal? " Are not "entities" that science can not yet explain? Therefore, if science is really the only thing that justifies how can this science itself acknowledges the existence of things that have yet fully conceptualized, even giving these concepts unexplained paranormal category? If the science itself has not considered this truth paranormal, then as we have justified their existence? What is the other thing, which surely is not science, that made us believe that these so-called paranormal exist? You may have faith?

For a long time, I accepted the truth that religion has provided long enough because I conformed to society. I chose to be a crowd that blindly accept the truth that religion provides only because the majority does not realize their ability to assess things.

The death was one of the greatest mysteries of life why can not live after death has chosen to reveal in front of him.

Regarding the question: "Is there life after death?" I can not give a definitive answer, I can only wonder. But then again, maybe this is good for its own mystery that haunts us still dust of life with color and magic at the same time.

Death Changes Perspective of Life

We live and die. But while living, most of us do not take the thought of death in mind. A person suffering from an incurable illness can hold in his mind, but not a normal person suffering from common ailments. For a very large population on earth, life is everlasting. This is the way they think and live. And 'this a right attitude? To some extent this is a right attitude and sometimes wrong. Analyze further.

We not only live our lives thinking that will not die, but also with others behave as if alive. Let me give you an example. Let's talk a friend. He / she does something or says something. We are deeply wounded. We feel bad, and start blaming the other person for many things. We do not think to forgive and take away. Why? Suppose our friend met his death after a week. What will be our reaction? We will go into a vein of regret and blame ourselves. The bad feelings we had for the person loses all meaning. That person is no more and no critical analysis or an exaggeration will help now. The situation has changed completely.

Accidents occur every day. Anyone of us can die at any moment. Nobody knows about the time of his death. We all believe that we will live to old age and die just after. Sometimes we do not even think about it. How about changing our perspective? How about keeping the thought in our mind all the time that - the person I'm hating so much now, or are fighting with so much now, May also die by an hour after meeting with "Some strange incident. This could change our perspective on all our relations. Do you? Change our thinking about ourselves too. We all start thinking more today and worry less about tomorrow.

Life is precious. Every life is precious. Each heart is precious. Why hurt anyone including your ownself? Forgive everyone. Start with yourself. Let death change our perspective.

Secrets My aunt did not take to the grave

My aunt Theresa Paparelli died this Thanksgiving Day, 2005. He had a commercial, which used to his life and passed to his son and me. Her husband, my mother's brother, Sam was a roofer. He worked on the repair and put new roofs on homes and businesses. He worked for a rich boy. His wife always wanted to go on his own. He did not listen. And he was always collecting unemployment during the winter months, when it was not working.

This has not prevented my aunt. She knew nothing about the hairdressing business, but that did not stop. He hired people who did this to her and worked on business and not in it. He later sold. He said the secret to his three children living and started a bar. It knew nothing about running a bar took the right people and delegates.

You should see this bar that has so much TV that I could not count them. And with the help of hired knew how to treat customers like kings. They had so much space and then the trail there were a heck of a lot of customers that Monday morning when we buried my aunt.

You must not know how to run a business or have the skills for the business at what he does. You can start a medical practice or advocate without being a lawyer, but there is a smart guy in my town that has several offices and the practice of law and he is a lawyer. He worked on the activities and staff recruited to repatriate. E 'between lawyer wealth in different counties in Pennsylvania.

One of my students when I taught gave me an article and unlined this statement because I know that the secret practice to some extent.

This article was about Kemmons Wilson. You do not know who he was ok but probably have stayed in one of its hotels. He was the founder of Holiday Inn. And one of its 20 principles is: No job is too hard until you are smart enough to find someone else to do.

I know my aunt was a great player. What he read, I do not know. Could the secret he had learned from reading as I research everything I know. But something I never asked and she took him to the grave.

I miss. It was still pretty young today as when it was death at 77 years of age. They only way you could see he was old and out of his hands. He was a worker for companies that she and her son had.

The took care of two of the most tragic ever live his son is dead my friend, Tony is dead and so did his younger Steven Long before his death.

At the funeral of Steven I wonder why God lets these things happen. I would say that is still true today. I'm not smart enough to know.

Mourning losses

"It 's better to go to the house of mourning than to go home to feast, because this is the end of all men, and the living will lay it to heart. The pain is better than laughter, the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better earnings and joy. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning .... "Ecclesiastes 7: 2-4

When you are in the process of healing must take into account the losses they have caused. These losses must be grieved to be released. An example is a parent-child relationship, when there was emotional, verbal or physical abuse will not be many things lost. Trust, respect, and good times together, just to name a few. Some losses as trust can be restored in time, but time lost can not be restored. So the loss of time spent together will be saddened. You can not go back and live your lives as one of 10 years again. The time to spend with your father is now gone and must be grieved. You are always trying to find what you lost until you release it and suffer.

The following are eight small steps that can be made to suffer losses so that the heart can be healed. These steps must be repeated aloud or in writing several times during the healing process. You will experience the peace of the Lord as you go through this pain and releasing process.

These eight steps are a process of grieving for your loss. They should be applied to any relationship where you were injured. You can not accept that someone or something has gone until face loss and mourning it. How to tell your children about death

The majority of children live in an idyllic world of cartoons on Saturday and the loving care of their parents. Unfortunately, there comes a time in which a child's experience of death for the first time and becomes the responsibility of parents to educate their children on the theme of death and dying. Death is a difficult subject to work at any age, but there are several things you can do to make the process more simple explanation for those involved. Death need not be a dark and onerous conversation with your children - actually, more or less should not be that way anyway.

1. Children understand things differently than adults

The media have probably given your children a sense of death, but probably not fully understand or appreciate the story and we have not discussed with you so far.

2. Discussing death with your children

Explaining an idea how death is different to explain something physical that your children are able to see, taste or touch. Groped to explain things from the simplest level possible. If you wish, you can use this as the moment to go beyond the speech is another great need to have with your children - birth.

3. Helping Children Coping with loss

- Many children take a different loss
- If your child loses a pet, be sure to hold a funeral for the pet farewell
- Hold open discussion for more than a day
- The toll is heaviest when a child loses one or both parents

4. Educate children at an early age

Children should have time to mull over the concepts of life and death in their minds. Do not wait until their pet dies to explain the themes of death and dying to your children. Many parents agree that children respond best to an open discussion, rather than, say, an informational video.

Haunted People, Haunted Lives

Did you ever hear things that go bump in the night? You are awakened by the sound of muffled voices and a lively party going somewhere in your home? You see unexplained mists or shadows that run along the walls or ceiling at night? Maybe you picture looked and saw something that seemed out of place, and that can be considered a ghost? I have a very good friend that would have made a life haunted. She says she has had many experiences with ghosts. Stating "I saw ghosts all the time I can remember." She is also very intuitive, and is a worrying way to predict the future. Not only social events, but also seems to have an uncanny talent for predicting the future of the family, and friends.

We all at one time or another been frustrated by a scary ghost story, weather, darkness around a campfire or maybe a dark movie theater? Just the thought of seeing a ghost, can send a shiver down the spine of the most skeptical person.

As of late many television networks have collected ghost phenomena, and are producing performances that dig deep into ghosts, and various types of ghosts that haunt. These shows are mostly directed towards investigating ghosts, ghost hunting you might say.

A show is like "Ghost Hunters". Ghost Hunters is a weekly show aired on the Sci-Fi channel. It is based on real life ghost hunters out on the road to analyze the sites said to be haunted. During the day, ghost hunters are normal people with normal jobs. After work have become ghost hunters. At night visit various sites of infestation, and using sophisticated equipment and a team of investigators, have been active especially to dispel ghosts ghost. Normally have happened, and to provide logical explanations for the disturbing phenomena that are occurring at any given disturbing. But - on rare occasions their investigations have raised unexplained remarkable achievement. To include filming of appearance, the recordings clear voice phenomena, along with personal experiences.

What are ghosts? Nobody knows if they really exist? There are many theories that attempt to define the vague ghosts, many dating back hundreds of years. After examining the object and the search for ghosts, it is very obvious that there are many types of ghosts out there.

Ghosts and hauntings seem to be a relatively common human experience. It seems that there are different types of ghosts or hauntings, and more than one theory may need to explain all.

The traditional view of most people is that ghosts are people who have lost their lives, and stuck around for one reason or another in a spectral form. It 'also the theory that because people of a premature or traumatic death can leave them in limbo. Not knowing who died?

Clare says Hans Holzer Ghost Hunter, "A ghost is a human being who has passed out from the physical body, usually in a traumatic state and is not usually aware of his true condition. We are all spirits encased in a physical body. A time passing, our spirit body continues into the next dimension. A ghost, however, due to trauma, is stuck in our physical world and must be freed to go forward. "

A disturbing residual or what some call ghost hunters' records, are said to be a form of registration of the 'environment of the dead past, and where something happened in life, leaving the ghost like stuck in time. L' energy spirits stay on to repeat this experience again and again. This type of ghost, a rule is not aware of the people living around them.

The ghost is that of the more annoying poltergeist. This type of ghost is the most active, and said to be the most feared. It is claimed that a ghost poltergeist has the ability to actually affect the physical world. Poltergeist is said that energy to move the items, turn electrical appliances on, slamming doors, and move the ownership from one place to another. Some can be very mean spirited, causing havoc in places that haunt. Most researchers believe supernatural poltergeist from evil demons.

Now a friendly ghost, the ghost messenger. The messenger ghost is said to be the most common ghost. A ghost that is earth bound for a short period after their death. It is said that staying close to their loved ones. I am very aware that they are dead, but stay awhile 'for the convenience of the people they left behind. They say they have the power to appear only briefly, perhaps to deliver a message of comfort? The message may just be a measure of comfort or an urgent message on how they can be dead?

To a skeptic, ghosts do not exist. There are ghosts among us? Nobody can really prove ghosts do not exist. For the believer who has had first hand experience with the ghost, it is hard to convince them that the ghost does not exist. So you can easily suppose there are many people among us who believe in ghost. Haunted people, with a time of ghosts.

How can we express our sympathy when someone suffers a loss

Death is something that people do not want to think. This only makes the person feel so bad inside and if they think this could have been avoided.

The truth is that death is another stage of life. Learning to cope with this when it happens in the family, the individual will be able to express the same amount of sympathy and interest, when this happens to a loved one or friend.

Here are some tips to show concern when this happens to others.

1. After learning of the loss, the friend should go to the wake and pay some respects. Say a few words of comfort are the best way to console anyone in that situation.

2. If the individual is a businessman and the deceased was a regular customer, perhaps sending flowers will be the best way to thank the person for the sponsorship in the past. This can also be made to an employee for the years helped to grow the business.

3. The friend may not be able to give much to the bereaved family. Those in office can put up a collection and give this place. No matter how, but only thought is what counts the most.

4. Some people are not able to say the right things at this time of sorrow. If this happens, it might be a good idea to wait a month before putting something down on paper in the form of a letter or card as a way to show respect for what has happened.

5. Mourning takes a long time. When the grieving is ready, maybe it's time to go out and have fun. This does not mean watching a movie or go to the amusement park. The friend should only do what the other wants.

6. And 'wrong tell everyone I know what you feel, especially if the friend has never been in this situation before. Instead, you better say I'm here if you want someone to talk to.

7. With time, healing can begin talking about the loss. What caused and the things that have been made to stop this especially if it was a deadly disease. This should go to improve things, how to end the pain is gone and he or she is in a better place.

It will be better to remember the good times shared and what made the individual stand out over others.

8. Life goes on after the deceased was buried. Because the friend has other obligations such as work and other tasks for the family, it wouldnt hurt to give a distressed phone call or a visit to check things sometimes.

The individual certainly appreciate this more than anything else because the other there will be only during waking and funeral and that is about it.

9. The death of a friend is a shock and painful to those who are present. The person can take a step and say a few kind words during the eulogy to remember how important this man or woman has been in the life of the individual.

10. Funerals are expensive. Write a check to cover some expenses is another way to show sympathy for the families who have experienced a loss. If the money wont be accepted, perhaps giving it away to a charity in honor of the deceased will be more appropriate.

11. Another nice thing to do would be to arrange for the deceased. A call must be placed at the parish so that the name of that individual will be mentioned along with others who have done the same.

There are other ways to show sympathy for someone who has suffered a loss. The religion of the person is important to avoid making mistakes. It's never easy for anyone to go through a tragic death.

The smallest gesture is more than adequate at this time of sorrow. Putting aside things and spend time with those in this situation, if this show really is a true friend or not.

Share your pain

Everyone arrives at a moment of grief, loss and sadness at some point in their lives. Pain is something that follows a loss. The pain can take many forms, may be established initially as numbness and later evolve to become a mixture of sadness, anger, confusion, dismay, despair, frustration nd. Losing a child causes pain that can be very painful. A parent who is emotionally and physically close to the child ends up losing its own identity with the loss of a child. This puts the mother in a sort of psychological trauma. May wonder how to bring their child - searching for them or remind them. They can also hear their voice or think they see them in familiar places. It takes a long time to adjust gradually to the great loss. The intense emotional pain that takes parents when they first talk about the loss of their child can make them feel if they ever survive this pain. Progress is made through the pain slowly as the feelings are worked through. Freud called this grief work.

Everyone reacts differently to the loss of a child. While some people seem to cope well with grief, others isolate themselves and become depressed and even consider suicide. Isolation is not a good thing if the person is self-determined and tough or spiritually independent mind. isolated people do not let that show their feelings and suppressed feelings lead to depression and other mental and physical disorders. Research shows that not a good thing to pretend that nothing happened when a loss as great as the loss of a child happens. Without appropriate help from others, parents are likely to feel discomfort, restlessness and anxiety. If you have more children, may fear for their lives. If the child who lost their only child, you might think to consider its future. It 'important they need someone to listen and ask questions and offer them not only words of comfort.

When the loss of a child that happens, parents need people to help them confront the fears of the future new and unknown. It 'very important that they are able to share their grief with close friends, relatives or advisers. It is said that in times of crisis like this, parents need a kind of emotional first aid - love and a shoulder to cry on. Parents should make the privacy and time to mourn the loss of their child. They also need people to support. There should be a balance between grieving alone and sharing grief. Some people find it helpful to spend fifteen to twenty minutes alone every day. This time, acts as a safety valve. It involved every emotion that have accumulated during the day. There are different ways of grieving in private: thinking, crying, praying, meditating, writing or drawing, talking to the dog! Keeping a diary helps the pain. Parents can write their feelings and memories of a loved one. They can then see how their grief changes over a period of weeks and months. This is proof of progress. If the diary is kept in a safe place the written memories become precious in the future. Alternatively, some people feel more comfortable with drawing pictures or photos to see their child. Sharing the pain with their loved ones to help people talk through their pain. They can relive their happy moments with their children talking to people or advisors, or by joining a bereavement support group.

Turning inwards for spiritual strength also helps to understand and deal with the pain. Spirituality helps a person to be grateful for things which more than sorry for what he lost. It also allows a person to accept that her son is now in the hands of God and happy in heaven.

Thus we find that different people have different strategies to deal with the pain. When then loss is as great as the loss of a precious child, parents need a balanced approach to deal with the pain. They need to have moments of isolation to work with their feelings, moments of prayer to help them acquire new knowledge and strength, and moments of sharing to have the support of family and friends. This mix is different for different people and when they find the right balance, find a way to cope with the loss of a child.
